Miscellaneous

I met his man who called himself Tim Rogers on Match.com - he romanced me for a few weeks via Yahoo Messenger, which he asked me to go on. Said he was a widower with one son from Ireland. Sent handsome pictures in his army uniform, among others.
After a few weeks, he needed funds to pay for security since he was in Afghanistan as a construction engineer but not active duty at this time. It was up to him to pay for this - if I helped him secure extra security, he could get the job done faster and get home to meet me. I sent him $1550 for this. A week went by and he finished the job and needed money for a plane ticket since the Army supposedly wasn't flying out for a month. I foolishly sent hime $2550 for the flight. And lo and behold he needed money a few days later for all the fees, i.E. Terrorist fees, etc. So I very foolishly again sent him $1550 for the fees. He sent me the flight itinerary which I followed to each of the 4 airports and was at the Pittsburgh airport to pick him up on Nov. 6 and he did not get off of the plane. He messaged me the next day that he was in attacked on the way to the airport, which caused an accident and he was in an Afghan hospital. We chatted on the computer for another week as he lay in the hospital because he needed funds now to pay his bill - FINALLY, I was starting to realize this was a scam. When I told him I had NO MORE funds to send him, he conveniently quit contacting me. How stupid could I be. His name of Match.com was doneforme1 - be careful!!
