Checked my banking account the other day and saw a 0.01 deduction. I didn't think anything about it because paypal periodically checks to make sure accounts are still active. Today I checked my account and saw a 29.95 charge from cc global by an electronic check with an acct. Number on it in the memo spot. I called the number on the check and they said it was for an adult website purchase but couldn't tell me anything else except to fill out a form at the website which was same as phone number. I told them I have never purchased any adult material and that it needed to be refunded and he said it would in 2-3 days and that he canceled and deleted all info. I am going to cancel my checking acct. Because it is definitly an uneasy feeling that someone is able to take money out so easily. Will defintely be more careful about entering my check number online. Something is going to have be done about this.
