I was reading the Dec. 2011 edition, not the one on the illustration presented above. I notice that there is a story about a poor Colombian family, and the way that the author describe that family really denigrate that family in other words the author make them look like they were living like animals. I am not a Colombian, but I am a Latino, because our language come from the Latin, I am an architect and my wife is a cardiologist, so there is no way i want no one on this insignificant company like Highlights stereotype our race, why the author didn't us a Caucasian or Afro-American??? I have more than 500 employees between different races, mostly whites and blacks and I don't treat them like I am more than them, I will post this story nationwide and I will describe how offensive this story is, and I will point your company as racist, mediocre, and insignificant. This needs to be fix ASAP.
