I went to Caughlin Crossing Dentistry in Reno NV for a chipped tooth repair. A new patient I told Dr Frugoli I was 75 years old, recently had a stroke and was taking 4 medications. Under Dr. Frugoli's direction plastic spoons were stuck in my mouth so my teeth would be better exposed for the camera. I was ordered to smile while facial photos were taken.
There were x-rays, oral exams, root planing, more x-rays, more oral exams.
Dr. Frugoli quickly ran up 42000.00 in dental charges. There charges for work not done. I was charged $58.00 for "miracle" toothpaste. I was charged $25.00 for duplicate x-rays. (My previous dentist had provided Dr. Frugoli with courtesy x-rays. IE: No charge.
Dr. Frugoli was angry with me because I complained about waiting one hour past my appointment time.
My chipped tooth was never repaired.
