Called by an indian lady who told me as I was a windows user, my pc had a virus. When i questioned how they knew she said a server had been down in my area and everyone had a virus now. She asked me to go to my pc, turn it on and press the flag key with 'r' and then type in eventvwr - apparently this would show me the virus i had and number of times etc. I did not do this but googled their company name and told her my computer was now saying it was a scam - she tried to deny it then hung up. I must say she was very convincing on the phone.
