Over a week I was unable to process my order online. The Customer Service number was only a recording that disconnected when the recording was finished. On 10/12 was able to process my $19.95 order online whcih added a $1.00 electronic fee and agreed to pay $21.20 for overnight delivery totaling $42.15 because I wanted the child's slippers for a Birthday party 10/15.

The product was delivered 5 days later on 10/17. I ended up driving over four hours round trip to deliver the gift to the child (now adding gas to the total cost) and after walking around in the slippers for 10 minutes, one of them stopped working (broke). The girl cried — the slippers are not durable as claimed in the ad and certainly are of no value.

Called and finally reached Customer Service Rep Sandra on 10/26 at 10:46 A.M. Demanding a refund of $14.25 ($6.95 shipping, processing & handling plus $14.25 for overnight shipping). After holding over 10 minutes Sandra got back on the phone and informed me that her supervisor authorized a refund to be reimbursed to me in the amount of $7.12. When I said that I want the full $14.25, Sandra stated all that is authorized is $7.12.

The return policy is unreasonable as well as the whole ad campaign. Stompeez only accepts returns for refunds if the unused product is returned in its original wrapping. That means the customer lost whatever they paid ($6.95 plus $14.25 additional overnight charge if selected) to have the product shipped originally, then pay another $6.95 to return the unused product and then another $6.95 should a replacement be requested.
