Long story short, Bait and switch? Or a Scam? You decide... I lived this nightmare sale... Went to trade in my 2010 Camaro for a 2011 Ford Raptor. The deal made was my car and 20,000 dollars cash to make this deal happen. They demanded a deposit of 1000 dollars and made me sign a no refund of deposit if I change my mind. I did that. They said my truck would be in Friday. Friday comes, no truck. They claimed the other dealer that had my truck and wouldn't release it to them. I said how can you sell me a truck you didn't have and didn't own? They then said they could sell me the one on the lot for 4,000 dollars more. Naturally I said no thanks. I said just return my deposit. They said they would mail it. Waited a few days and nothing. Where I live if you send something in the same county it's here in one day because my county is the mail hub. So I had to go in and get my deposit. Got there and they said I would have to come back as they said they couldn't put it back on the card. I had to return the next day to get the deposit because no one wrote a refund check, so a week later I finally got it by going in to get it once again.in between those meetings the salesman said, why don't you just finance the other 4,000 and you could have the Truck. I said that wasn't the deal made and I didn't need or want those extra options, a navigation and a premium sound system wasn't worth 4,000 dollars to me... I complained to Ford directly many times for this matter and demand the deal they made to go through. They said they couldn't help. Even after I explained to them that I was a New Customer to Ford and it would be my very first Ford product, they still didn't care. They way I see it they should had gave me the truck on the lot for the same price for this major problem they had caused with this sale. They made me sign that I wouldn't back out of the deal, yet they did and I got nothing but aggravation and lies. Naturally I would had lost a 1000 dollars, they got away with it and lost nothing. Well they did, they lost a new customer. Stupid on their part huh?
