Defective Pills?

My wife was switched over to Necon 1/35 birth contol pills made by Watson pharma. She is 33 and has been on birth contol for apprx 15 years. She became pregnant the very month she was switched to this product. She took it at the same time every day. I am concerned it was defective. We have another months worth of the pill and would like to have them tested. We would like to know if anyone has ran into this problem with this product?
