I was contacted by peter marks saying he was a rep of richard oil and gas company and needed someone to help with administrative work because they were short handed and i could do it at home. The job offer came via careerbuilder so i thought they were legit. I did the work and was told my pay would be deposited into my account because i didn't want a check. I got the money into and waited for it to clear since it was a wire transfer i knew it was good not. I took the money out to pay bills and then a month later i found they took the money from someone else's account to pay me. Now i am in trouble with my bank. I did speak with peter who said they would take care of the matter. He said to follow up with him in a couple of days and he would have an answer needed to speak with accounts payable. I waited for 2 days and his phone was disconnected and my email that sent to him came back as undeliverable. So now i am stuck trying to find a way to pay this money back. It was only a temp position for a few months. But that was for the first month of payment. What can i do about that?
