I was contacted by phone and somehow talked into an internet business where they would set up the website for me, and give me unlimited training for a year, and where I would make lots of money. I understood that I would have to spend time learning how to do this, and would have to spend some time on this as it would be a business, not a get rich quick scheme...
At first, they would set up phone lessons, about once a month or so... Within the last 4 months, that changed to no appointments unless I called to set one up after my 'homework' was done. (Homework was whatever one still had to do to work on their website.) I went through 4 or 5 different trainers, all who told me how to do the same thing but in a different way (setting up stores on Amazon). I learned since that Amazon offers an affilitate program that doesn't require UWC or anyone else to set it up for you...
I have not made ANY money. I have not been taught anything that wasn't already on the training material they sent - which is basic internet stuff...
I contacted my credit card company to try to get my money back, but they said since I had received information online (course information), I couldn't get my money back.
A hard lesson.
