Timothy Olsen claimed he was from the UK. He said that he wanted to reserve our vacation home for his honeymoon. His company (supposedly in the US) was going to pay for their expenses. He said a certified check was on it's way. Got an additional e-mail that said the company accidentally sent their entire expense check to us. We were to take out what we were charging for the rental, $150 extra for our "runnings around" (not the greatest English), and then send the excess amount via "Western Union Money in Minutes" to Patricia Loeb 1637 Aaronwood Dr., Old Hickory, TN 37138. Fortunately, we were suspicious and waited to see if the check cleared first. The check was phony, as we suspected. If we would have gone ahead with this, we would have been out of thousands of dollars!!! We were lucky but fear for others...
