I was contacted on facebook that a person (David Robinson) claiming to be from Manchester, UK was looking for a friend and ran across my picture and wanted to talk with me and get to know me. I ignored it at first but then received another letter stating how he had not felt this strongly for someone since his wife died of breast cancer 3 years ago. So at this I sent a note back. Suspicious at first but after 6 weeks of talking on the chat and sending messages with at least 8 hours a day invested in talking, I fell deeply in love. He claimed to be a Construction Engineer and was going to a big job in Nigeria and in 3 weeks will be coming here to see me and introduce me to his mom and daughter in Kansas City. I had been totally open and honest as to my situation of being a very poor single mom but despite this he claimed that his equipment was being held in customs and needed $600 to get them out so he could start work and if I could send it then he would be able to get to me as soon as he finished. I did not send the money and reported him to facebook but was completely brokenhearted. I am a very Christian person and wrote a note to this person saying that I would pray for them because they would need it where they were going to spend eternity. I cannot believe I fell so hard so quickly and let all this happen around me. I was oblivious to what was happening while it was happening but I do have great friends that have kept my spirits up. I paid my phone bill putting me in the hole at the bank, I will have some international calls to pay for when they come in next month, I missed work just to talk with this person and I feel like a complete idiot. He gave me an email address to contact him by (davidrobinson_101@yahoo.com), 2 different phone numbers (447045797914 and 2347030763106) to call and I fell hook, line and sinker. I am just thankful I did not have the cash to send because I probably would have done it. Thanks for having a place to turn this person in. Help stop this from anyone else to not get taken emotionally and monitarily. God Bless. Dee Frazie
