I found angela-shoes via thefind.com. Although i never heard of them, i thought that i was protected ordering through paypal. I was sooo excited about getting the frye boots that i wanted, that i went against my better judgement of, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't!!! But, i thought i'd be ok because why would paypal do business w / a company that wasn't legit, right??!!!
After placing my order i happily told my husband what i did & he said, first of all, just because you order through paypal doesn't mean you're protected & 2nd it doesn't sound right... Well, he was right!!! After going back to the website i saw that i was unable to write or call them... I tried to cancel my order via paypal... Thank goodness i did 1 smart thing that day, i used my american express card! After researching i realized that i've been scammed, i called american express... About 2 weeks later there was a notice on my door that the post office had something for me... The people @ amex said that if the item was not the size of a boot box that we should refuse it... It was an envelope & we refused it! 2 months later: today we recieved a letter from american express saying that because the sender showed proof that they sent something to us they were going to give them the money!!! We once again called american express to explain how we were scammed... They are reopening the case... To be continued!!!
