I went to the credit unit today to withdraw $ to pay a legitimate bill and found my account was $30.00 short (not enough left to pay bill).
I went online and found a totally unauthorized debit in the amount of $30.00 with a transaction line stating "866-761-1124 FUND ASSUR". I attempted to call the number but got a recording saying their hours were 9-9 EST and I called at 8:03PM CST - too late. Will call credit union when they open in the morning and call the 866 number and demand a refund. This will be reported to the state Attorney General. I have never heard of this organization and have no idea how they got my banking information to perpetrate this theft!
