I contacted this individual via craigslist to install carpet by the name of otho raymond ball, of 5026 wintersong lane in westerville ohio he came to my residence and gave me a estimate of 500.00 dollars down and 300.00 dollars upon completion, in which i agreed, i gave him the 500.00 dollars to order the carpet, in which i recieved a receipt from him for the 500.00 dollars, and now its october and he refues to give me my money back, he has told me he would give me my money back if i come to columbus and that he would meet me, on 3 different occasions i have driven to columbus ohio from mt gilead ohio, and he has failed to meet me, now i have spent more than 500.00 dollars just in driving expences and loss of work time, i have filed theft charges against this man, and should also file internet fraud and breach of contract his attornry, and was advised to give me my money back, but now when i call him all i get is his voice mail, and no return call, his phone number is 614-427-8200, please help me with some advise, or anything, i am on a fixed income, i really cant just let him get away with my 500.00 dollars my e mail address is (Personal Information Removed) and phone number is (Personal Information Removed) please help me
