We are a small health store. An employee answered a call from this company asking her to complete a survey to update our records online. She was asked a series of yes or no questions which were recorded for "quality purposes". These were questions like, "Is this your correct address, phone number", etc. This was in April.in August, we were contacted by a "collection agent" for Yellow Book Directory demanding a credit card number to pay for a "past due account in the amount of $562.83 for advertising that never existed that our employee ordered in April. I told him we knew nothing about this and we won't pay anything until we investigate this. He said it had been too long and we had to pay immediately, or our credit would be ruined. He played a recording that sounded cut and put together of her yes and no responses to completely different questions than the original ones in April. We looked them up online and found ALOT of similar complaints on this obvious scam. I told them never to call here again. Today I received a call from their "legal dept" and informed them we are turning their scam in to the F.T.C. And threatned prosecution if they harrass us again.
