Cash the check, keep the money, no order is sent

I bought a book which had this company advertised in it for AQ Potions. The book is called What is a Lightbody. I got it from a reputable company. I went online & got the order form for Alchemical Mage & mailed my order with the payment to the company. After a few weeks I called because they had not sent the order or cashed the check. They answered the first few calls but insisted they had not recieved the order. I kept checking with my bank & they had cashed the check but it is going into a second month now & I still have not recieved my order & they no longer answer their phone. You just get an answering machine and they do not return calls. I just want my $44 back now as I am convinced by this time what I ordered is not what is is supposed to be & is just some bogus crap. I am a senior woman on disability & cannot afford to lose my money. I notified the BBB in Denver of the incident. They have made a file of the company but previously did not know about it.
