My experience is the same as others. I backed out of my online order before hitting the "submit" button, yet the order was put through anyway. There was no way to reach a customer representative to complain and cancel the order. I then went online and googled: Magic Mesh Door Cover Complaints and found this site. Yikes. I realize I had walked into a hall of mirrors called Magic Mesh. Regrettably I hadn't read all the complaints prior to ordering or I would have realized it was a scam.

I then contacted my visa company which advised me to do the following: upon receipt of the product, reject and send back the package through the post office. Be sure to get confirmation from the post office (a return receipt for merchandise). Once the item was posted to my visa, I was to call visa and contest the charge. They appear to be quite familiar with this company. I followed through with all this advice.

By the way, the post office clerk did check her computer to trace the address to which the product would be sent. The address is listed as 300 Returns Rd. Wallingford Ct. 06492. There is no "Returns Road" in Wallingford. This may just be a post office box, and therefore could be subject the company to Federal Laws regarding fraud.By the way, I was returning this product from another post office in Connecticut.

Ultimately the purchase was reversed on my credit card, but not until I spent a lot of time and lost money in shipping the product back myself $5.20, and spending $3.85 on the return receipt for merchandise.

I have concluded that a large percentage of Magic Mesh Door Cover revenue comes from their shipping charges, and in fact this is how they are making their money.
