In London, stupidly responded to an internet ad for sample creams - for a total of £2.58 each x 2. They did not arrive before I left the UK. My cousin said they arrived and there was a postal payment of
£20 pounds so I said to forget it, as this had never been mentioned in the ad (stupid me, of course). Now, I see on my bank statement, that 2 amounts of £45.39 have been deducted, on SEPTEMBER 26th.
So I call the bank - Natwest - to say that it is obviously a scam, and they tell me I have to deal with the company involved... Well, hello! No numbers, no details no nada, and stupid me, but can't the bank help me to block any more payments???
