I recieved the letter in the mail, return address was FIDO, said I won 85,000.00 and that I needed to call and verify my claim number, then I would be instructed on how to pay the non-residentual taxes of 1950.00 which had been deducted from the 85,000.00. Through Western union Money Transfer. I called, the gentleman who congratulated me on winning this random draw just for shopping at Walmart, Walgreens, Home Depot and such. Then asked if I could deposit the check tonight yet, I replied the bank is closed but could do this tomorrow, he said that is fine just call as soon as I had deposited the check, and keep this confidentual, tell no one that I had won and keep the letter safe, because anyone would be able to use the info on the letter and claim the prize. Hmmm Then I asked just were I was calling to, he responded the North American base. Seemed funny I was winning just for shopping, then the letter was from Canada, the check has the name of Atlantic STATES IRON PIPE CO. And the Bank is Regions Bank -Brimingham, Alabama. Glad I checked out the internet before getting to wrapped up in excitment. I will pursue this no further.
