I purchased a deal for a brazilian wax for $30. I scheduled my visit to the salon and when I got there was made aware that the employee I was scheduled with has never performed the service before and wasn't comfortable trying (Nor would I allow a first-timer to use me as a guinea pig.)
After having been horrified by the service and incredibly embarrassed when the aesthetician left the door to the room open while I was bare from the waist down - I was told that I could not have a refund even though I didn't have the serviced done!
Basically, LivingSocial ran an ad for a gross salon who lied about the services they provide. When I emailed LivingSocial I received no response. And so - in this age of information, I'm doing my part to make everyone aware of not only the disgusting salon and their shady business practices, but also LivingSocial's lack of due dilligence regarding who they partner with and poor customer service.
