I had saw a commercial on t. V about Armando's seminars and thought this is what i can do. I just went through a rough time losing my job and going on unemployment after working my whole life. So my son and I went to the free seminar. There was about fifteen others there some in the same boat as I was. It was like they singled out the people they knew they could scam. Everyone was energetic and the music was playing. Everything was going good as they were telling us "you can do it". All we needed to do is pay $1,500 and they would help us get started with all the information we would need. Knowing in my mind that I just lost my job, I would have to come up with a way to get this money so i could support my family's future. I paid the $1,500 they said now we have a three day seminar in Santa Barbara, Ca we will go over contacts information on where to invest and how. After I paid the amount they handed me a black case which included books, pamphlets and dvds full of tips and info. This made me more at ease knowing that this was legit. The three day seminar sounded good i went over all the books prepared for Santa Barbara. I was excited for the first day of the seminar knowing that this could be the first day of a better life for me and my family. But things change when I got there. Not to much information was given. It was more like a meet and greet. It felt like they only talked to the people that had money. After day two a gentlemen approach me in the hall way and said they are going to ask for more money $40,000 to be exact. The bus tour was going to put us ahead of others faster because they would help us one on one. I didn't have $40,000 and they knew that and my situation. If knowing this was going to cost me my life savings I would have never done this. I have been trying to get my money back and haven't heard a single word from the company.
