Received a notice a week ago, advising me I had won $2,274, 000.00 but needed to send them a $20.00 check as an "amount validation fee." Supposedly, this information on the letter I received "has been audited, certified and approved, and the entire amount has been verified in full as designated for payment in the report now guaranteed for delivery to you." I have always been told that if you win any amount of money, you needn't have to submit any money to receive it.
