This company, ROSETHAL STEIN ANDASSOC had contacted my mother stating i needed to contact at the end of day due to a breach of contract and if i didnt return their call they would proceed with legal authorities. I called and spoke with an agent whom wanted me to give her my personal information last of soc sec and birth date. I told her that i do not give this information over the phone. She then proceeded into telling me did i knowingly write a check in 2007 and had no intentions on paying this back. I stated no she then stated that my case was in litigation to be sent to my county for my arrest unles a large payment was made today. I asked were was this office located shestated 1800rosewell dr.in marrietta ga. I was so shaken that i gave her my bank information and the first payment was taken out on 8-29. I called an online agency about collection agency harrasment which informed me to freezze all my assets and close the account that it all sound like a scam. The next day i closed all my accounts and started to research this company. I called them back on 9-16 only to be placed on hold, hung up on and transferred call to a voicemail. When i did talk to an agent whom stated she was ms gibson in legal dept and that my case was going to court today she stated i needed to make a large payment today. I tried to explain i made arrangements but she didnt want to hear what i was saying. She then stated we been on phone for ten min. Which we hadnt. I asked her for the address she stated their corporate office was 2020 howell mill rd in atl ga after my researched i learned that this was a shopping center with all types of stores, pharmacies and resturants. I noticed there was a ups store so i called it and spoke with a lady whom i asked if there was a business called rosethal stein and assoc. At this address. She stated no but what name do you have i stated a Charisse williams she then stated yes she has a post office box here and she picks up mail daily. She gave me the po box number and said i could send her mail there. I was shocked. This ms gibson told me this was there corporate office. This company is a scam and i have obtained an attorney
