Teleflora called David to place my order for a surprise floral arrangement for my daughter. Next thing I know my daughter is calling me in hysterics because David had just called her and yelled at her for 15 minutes, saying things like Teleflora is keeping his family in rags and poor, that if (after he read the gift card message to her) we really loved her, we would not use Teleflora, etc. When my daughter asked for his name and phone number, she was crying so hard he had to repeat his name and told her that if 'she had not been crying so hard, she could listen.'
When I complained and Teleflora called David, he denied spoiling the surprise (even after reading her the card.) David is a liar and a coward. Why Teleflora would use someone like that I have no idea. They said they would blacklist him, and they should, as should every other online florist. This was inexcusable. The best Teleflora could do? Offer me a 20% discount. I told them no thanks, but I did want to cancel my order, that I wanted a formal apology sent to my daughter, & a credit on my credit card.
All of which they agreed to do.
The most amazing part? I've used Teleflora to send flowers to the same address several times, and while skimpier than the picture online showed, the arrangements were still pretty. I'm afraid nothing can fix this disaster though.
