Faulty Deck Railings

They stripped the deck of installed railings on which there were numerous faults. Most could be corrected on site; a couple were serious enough the railings would have to be re-made. Without honoring a commitment he made to meet and review the problem, he simply removed them without telling us of his intention. We reported it as a theft, then found out, Precision had simply taken them. Original meeting was scheduled for 1:00 PM; he waited until 5:00 PM to call saying he could better make the corrections in the shop. Most iron people will tell you the less the iron is moved and handled, the better. His mishandling them in the original delivery was much of the problem we had. He had miscalculated the angle of the back steps; these would have had to be re-made as the stair railings did not meet code. His performance in my mind indicates a serious lack of expertise, although he told me he was the best in the area.
