Miscellaneous

I received an E-mail stating that I am eligible to receive a $5,000 loan. It looked legitimate because it had all the terms covered, etc. When I called the company, they said that I need to send them $900 as collateral because it was a secured loan. This did not include the fee that Western Union charged me. I thought nothing of this because the loan documents stated that I needed to provide collateral. The next morning, I received a phone call at 9:00 AM explaining that my loan could not be processed because my credit score came up as suspect. This sounded suspicious since I thought I was pre-approved; however, I sent another $900 to secure the loan. I was assured by the loan officer that my $5,000 would be deposited by Friday. I called all day Friday, a tleast 10 times, but I could not get anyone to answer the phone, not even the secretary. Since this has occurred, I contacted Western Union to get my money back. I also contacted my bank along with the filing a report with the FTC. On a positive note, I have a signed document stated that this loan was real. After the Labor Day holiday, I will call my attorney to get further advice on how to proceed.
