A person named Erskine R. Curry, contacted me through my own Web site offering a well paid position as Director at Carimundo a Caribbean World Broadcasting Corporation entity, even had me signed a contract and for that he requested my Social Security Number, copies of my degrees and CV, he checked my US Passport and Driver's License. My first assignment was to rent a TV Studio here in Miami - Florida, which I did, so we could start production, then he asked me to look for two more Studios to have options, so I kept calling and meeting with TV Studio people, giving my name, showing my face and thus compromising my word for something that was never going to happen.
When the time came for him to show up at the Studio, he didn't do it, I called him, he didn't pick up the Phone, almost a week later he called me just to tell a story about how he got lost and couldn't find the address, also that since he dropped his cellphone by mistake was not able to call me back, but yet asked me to keep on working even when not knowing from him, he's always to busy with other projects - he says!
After that I have not heard from him again nor received any payment or compensation.
I called Entertainment Partners in Orlando, the company that the contract states as responsible for the Carimundo's paperwork, pay roll and legal matters, only to find out that there's no connection at all between them and Carimundo or Erskine R. Curry.
I went to the Hammock District Police to press charges against him on Fraud and possible Identity Theft, the female officer with unnatural yellow painted hair there didn't fill the police report because she didn't see the facts and since I'm not out of any money and my credit hasn't been damaged yet, there's no cause for action on her part.
But again, he is a fraudulent person, Erskine R. Curry is a con man. Be aware!
