I saw the company's ad for a samsung led lcd tv for $1150 bluray player, so i decided to purchase it, and for the cheap price ended up purchasing 4 (for family & friends). Paid in total $4000 for 4 lcd.
After a day after i made the payment, they then told me that they made a mistake and sent me 8 instead of 4, so now i have to pay extra $3000 because it was their mistake so they are responsible for the shipping & tax money of $1000. I told them i don't want 8, just want the 4 that i ordered, but they said i must pay the extra $3000 or my package will not be delivered, i then ask them to refund my money and even minus out the shipping money for the 4 that i ordered and refund me the left over amount. Bu t the company refuse, and told me if i don't pay $3000 i will lose the money and the product... What can i do? Is there any chance to get my money back or get the law involve?
By the way, i am from Australia and their company is in Malaysia, they have a website which seems to be very suspicious, www.gadgetscabinets.com
I was dealing with a guy name HUGSON WILLIAMS or Haruna Azeez. But since then i have browse through many site and saw the same ad same phone no. And same company but the contact name is always different, i have been trying to report it to every site that the AD is a scam a fraud. I don't care if i don't get my money back, just want the law to deal with this company so other people won't end up like me.
