I purchased a travel trailor in equipted with a dometic refrigerator. The warranty was for 3 yrs. However the unit was put on the recall list in early 2011. The recall was extendedback to 2003 models. I contacted the co and was told i needed a kit. I started to check the unit to find that it had already failed. They stated in the recall If your unit had failed that you would be reembursed. Now they tell me that i had no extended warranty. Apparently this was a defective product from the start/either manufacture / design or material. I feel that they owe me a repair or replacement.
