Contacted through Match.com. This man was so romantic and assured me he had fallen in love. I was his 'baby' by the end of the first week. I was truly interested. His story was that he was born and raised in Rome, a log home contractor working in Nigeria, a widow and father of 15 year old Cody. I was going to be his one love that would complete him since the death of his wife. His current project was finishing and he would soon be coming home to me to start our lives together. When he asked for $500 to set up an account for his $850,000 paycheck that would protect him from piracy, I went looking and it only took a short search to find his other victims. He totally fit the descriptions and all the red flags of romance scam artists listed on the scam websites. He collaborates with a Jimmy Jones in Lagos, Nigeria who receives your wired money. Don't go there with this one!
