I applied for a small business loan online. They called and seemed legit - good website, sent a written contract etc. Kept calling back. Knew my credit rating etc.

They asked for a deposit to be wired to Canada - I know I never should have sent it. Now they're not calling back and the loan was never put in. I'm normally really smart - I own my own business and have a masters degree and am naturally suspicious. They are really smooth. A nice woman calls you and knows her stuff.

BEWARE!!! I thought I was desperate financially before. Now I'm really screwed.
