False Advertisement

After Garden Ridge had gone through Bankruptcy, and our local store closing, we were glad to be shopping there again. However today was enlightening to say the least. We purchased two candles with red line discount. When it did not ring up as a discount, the cashier told us there was nothing she could do as people put their own lines on products. Made it sound like we were crooks. The manager arrived and we took him to two isles of candles all with a red line, the exact same candle we had. All those candles showed half price, but not ours. He suggested in the future to walk around the store and look for the price check scanners and check it ourselves before taking it up to check out. Either way, even though 10 other exact candles were discounted ours were not and we could not exchange them!
