Miscellaneous

I received an email from a Larry Lawson stating that my application for mystery shopper was accepted and he emailed what was supposed to be the job description and also instructions for what was supposed to be my first assignment. I felt secure in proceeding with the assignment because he never asked for any personal information like my social security number nor bank information. So after I was to cash the check for $1886 I was to go to walmart make a $30 dollar purchase report back on how the customer service was was, how long it took to get service, if the store was clean or not, etc. I was instructed to keep $200 for myself as payment for completing the job and Money Gram the rest to a Damion Haynes in Houston, Texas. I later received a second email stating that I needed to "go back to the Walmart where you wire the funds and cancel the wire simply because Damion Haynes has gone out of town due to emergency so kindly go ahead now and cancel the wire then proceed to Walmart and wire it to the new info below via Western Union..." which I was the then resend the money to Theron Farr in Houston, Texas. A week later, this Larry Lawson sends another email along with another check and when I get to the bank with the second check thats when I was informed about the first check and became immediately aware of what had just happened. I reported this fraudulent activity to my bank and it is currently being investigated but I have not otherwise heard anything back as far as my account or if the scammer has been caught, as I would love for him/them to be.
