On Wednesdat July the 13th I received an email from Richard Pilker, claiming to be a senior loan officer with Northstar Lending group In Chicago agreeing to provide a student loan if I am still interested. I have an outstanding student loan for the spring semester that I have to repay before I can register for the fall. So I agreed, signed the contracts he sent and provided drivers license and pay stubs.
I was asked to wire $1330. To Sevill Spain, and $10,000. Student loan will be deposited into my account. He called the next day and stated that after reviewing my credit and application it was determined that I should deposit another $1330.0. I agreed and sent the money. He stated that the money will appear in my account on Friday July 15th. I called on Friday and he commincated that he was nsot aware that the money was not depoisted and that he will call back in 15 minutes. Fuve hours later I called and he stated that a business tax was needed. I told him that this was not part of the contract and he agreed that Northstar will pay the $800. Since this was not communciated initially. He assured me that the money will be in my account on Friday July 29th. The money was never depsoited. I had several failed attempts to contact Richard Pilker today. His phone number is no longer working as of today. I did read commnets about this business on Northstar's Web page and there was nothing negative till this morning. I sent an email requesting that I have my money back but I have had no response.
