Sacramento CA Distric Attorney Brian Myers D.A. Brian Myers refused to press charges against a person who admitted to strangling me for 5 to 6 minutes

It was october when I was attack in my home by a roommates girlfriend Angela Mckay its been a few years since the attack and I am still not over it. My roommate went to work and her girlfriend Angela Mckay was suppose to leave as well.instead she decided to insult me in my own home to her friend on the phone. So I asked her to leave and when she would not I grabbed her arm to escort her out of my house. I was than jumped on and strangled by Angela Mckay with her 200 pound body. I weighed 115. She strangled me until I was not breathing. I woke up some time later with all my dogs on top of me and the front door open and Angela Mckay was gone. I could barley swallow or breath when I called 911. The police came out and arrested her outside my house. The police asked her how long do you beleave you were strangling her for? She replied For about 5 to 6 minutes. I had to go to Med 7 to get treatment on my severly bruised neck.
I received a phone call by Distric Attorney Brian Myers who said because I grabbed her arm that I started a fight and she was defending herself. I said I did not even grab her arm hard and that gives her the right to smash a glass cup over my head and to jump on me and strangle me for 5 to 6 minutes from what she told the cops I said. DA Brian Meyers said that he was releasing her and was not going to press charges. I was not ok with that I told him and explained how injured I am and scared of her. Mr. Myers didnot care and said I could send pictures to him if I wanted and maby he will reconcider. My friend came over everyday to take pictures of the bruising darkening and changing colors. Her fingerprints were clearly on my neck all 10 of them. We drove the pictures to the DA office addressed to Brian Myers. He got them said he looked at them but was not going to change him mind about his decesion of not pressing charges. I did get a restraining order against Angela Mckay and the judge was shocked at the photos and gave me the restraining order. Since than I have nightmares of the incident I cant function in everyday life I now get panic attacks, which i have never had before. I have no crimnal history and have never been violent to anyone in my life. I begged the DA to press charges and he refused. He said that touching her arm gave her a right to strangle me in my own home. I asked was their any brusing on her arm. He replyed no but you started it and no charges will be pressed against Miss Mckay... I am so hurt and angry that DA Brian Myers would not press assault charges againts Angela Mckay. I think Brian Myers is a terrible DA and should be removed from office. And I wil not crawl in a whole a pretend that this did not all happen. My question is why? Why Why
