Amy Family Care Home is Great!

My 25 year old son with autism lives at this home. Joanna is kind, very competent and she does a wonderful job caring for our son. We have spent a lot of time at her home and we see first hand how great she is. Joanna is an experienced registered nurse. She not only provides a safe and loving environment, she keeps our son home from program if she suspects he isn't feeling well (our son has limited communication) and she takes him on many outings so he is becoming integrated into his new community.

We often visit the home for dinners and to just hang out with our son. This is the first time he has lived away from home and Joanna has made this transition that I thought would be incredibly difficult incredibly easy. I have seen Joanna interact with a variety of clients and I have been very impressed. She has taken the initiate to learn behavioral management skills to help our son learn self help skills. We are very fortunate to have found her. My husband and I are strong advocates for our son and we this home definitely meets our expectations. Anyone who complains about this home has not spent time there. Joni Price
