Unknown scammers tricked people via Job Boards to open merchant accounts under the carblash name. The scammers then obtained credit card information through the website (which only the scammers control) or from some other source. The scammers then make small charges on one of many different merchant accounts and hope people miss the charge. One of the merchant accounts that was opened in Indiana is now closed by a person duped by the scammers, but there are likely many others located elsewhere. The 219 area code on the site also part of the scam and calls are somehow forwarded automatically from 219 to the scammers, wherever they are. So it is advisable to cancel your card and notify your bank or credit issuer.
