Miscellaneous

I received an email from Steve Sanders offering me a mystery shopping job. I accepted and was told that they would be sending me two money orders with instructions as to what to do with them. I was out of town when they arrived and when I got back I had a Fed Ex envelope with the two money orders. At that time I was waiting for insurance money for a painting I had done that was damaged and forgot entirely about the mystery shopper. Thinking it was my insurance money (strange as it was... It was indeed very close to what was owed me) I took them to the bank and deposited them in my account. That was on the 13th. On the 18th I had two charge backs. I went to the bank and while standing there I suddenly remembered the mystery shopper info. Fortunately, I did not follow through so I lost nothing. I then received an email from a John Lechy asking me if I had followed the directions as he had not heard from me. This morning in an attempt to find out who sent the money orders I went to the bank. I thought this was legit until the bank informed me that this was a scam!
