Beware

Company took my payments for 2 years, have yet to file a claim. Found out quite by accident that these policies are not "underwritten". They advised me that until you actually file a claim, you do not know if you are covered or not. When I called to cancel and switch to VPI Pet Insurance, the customer rep was actually shouting into the phone: "what does it take to keep you here?". I have learned that one of their very own employees uses VPI due to not knowing until after the fact whether or not he was covered. This is a relatively new company, with not a large insurance base. DO not risk your pet's health or waste your money. I'm only glad that my dog and cat are both healthy and I did not have to find out after the fact that they were not covered.
