Ripoff

I didn't have anything to do on a Sunday and was surprised to see a H & R Block stand open in a local grocery store. I simply had them e-file my taxes, no rapid loan of any kind. I work in Arkansas and live in Missouri. The lady said it would be 8-15 days. I was okay with that.

So about ten days later, I called to ask the status on my return. They gave me this useless automated number that I'm sure is programed to say the same thing no matter what to find out about my return. Nothing. I got online a couple of days later and visited the irs tax information center, they had sent my return out. Five days later I called to ask about my return and before I had even given my name, they told me no. I asked how they knew how this was.

I visited H & R Blocks web site and filed a complaint. They e-mailed me back and asked me to send in another complaint. All I want to know is where my return is at and I keep getting the run around. Finally I called the irs again to ask if there was a problem and I spoke to a really nice lady who told me that no there wasn't and that this was pretty common of H & R so they could collect interest on my money sitting in their bank. I will never use them again.
