PODS 16' containe

When I reserved my PODS 16' container it was delivered and picked up on time, and taken to a storage facility about 30 miles away from my home. An agent I spoke with at the time of setting up my account advised me to reserve a second PODS in case I needed it when it came time to move. After a year in storage (my house didn't sell) PODS automatically charged me $495 for delivery of the second container (PODS #2), which I didn't use, never needed and never wanted. After a year I had forgotten about the second container and I had to call that same day and cancel it. I had to talk to more than one agent and finally with a supervisor to have the charges taken off my account... No easy task. THEN, after 14 months (from the initial delivery of PODS #1) I was charged $495 again for delivery of the PODS #1 to a home that no longer was for sale. The original agent had insisted that I needed an address for delivery to process my account and the only address I had was a house that I had been looking at. After getting that straightened up, I decided to get the PODS back to my house, empty it, and be done with them. I was only a few days past the billing date and they were going to charge me for a full month of storage and another $495 for delivery! One agent told me I owed it, but I finally talked to another agent that got her supervisor to prorate it. I had paid nearly $3000 in storage fees ($214/mo) and they wanted to charge me for the entire month for a few days storage! In my estimation, PODS agents don't know what the right hand is doing. Communication within the company is poor. I do not recommend long term storage using PODS due to the complicated experience I had with them.
