Refuse to Pay Gas for Apt i no Longer Live in

Feb 12 i moved to a new unit. I called people gas on Feb 10 transfer my gas service to my new apt and cut off gas at old apt. Gas company did not do that they left gas on at the old apt but want me to pay for it. Not my problem. And i am paying a old gas bill now for a old apt i lived in 3yrs ago. Same thing, people gas did not cut off the gas. I would like a refund or credit for that bill too. I am on a fixed income. I am only going to pay the gas bill were i live at now. Then people gas will transfer your old bill to you new bill so you can pay. That is so wrong i don't like it, i am going to fight for what i believe in.
