Fraudulent Representation

I bought a 52" Sharp TV from Henry (Zib Direct) and it has been a nightmare, please do not buy from this company as you will regret it. Henry informed me that I had to pay about $100 extra for mail insurance although the original deal was free shipping. He also told me I was buying a brand new TV, later when it had issues and I called Sharp (since all new TV's have a 1 year Sharp warranty).

I was told by them that it was a refurbished TV which only carries a 1 month warranty, unfortunatly for me it was about 5 months when these issues happened. Henry had sold me a 5 year in home warranty on the TV which he told me everything would be covered. WRONG AGAIN! When I tried to use the warranty, I was told I had to pay for the service call on my own ($100.00) then they would consider paying for repairs after I got an estimate and ran it through their approval system which would take some time. When I approached Henry about this, he said too bad, but we don't take returns on any warranty purchases. I explained to him that he misrepresented the coverage of the warranty and he hung up on me.

I tried to call several more times to try to get my money back for the warranty, but he said his manager says "NO." Each time he would excuse himself to talk to the manager - he would hang up on me. This company should NOT be allowed to be open for business as it is fraudulent in each aspect of its business that I had to deal with. Other comments from customers say the same thing. The US governement needs to shut them down!
