Market research Sent a cashiers check for 3600 dollars

I received a letter with a check enclosed for $3600, stating that they are a mystery shopper company, called strativity market research. Now at first i was sold on the idea, but with research, i found out that this was a scam. They have you deposit the check then causes you to be in discrepancy with your bank. I did some research and it looks like this person is in Canada and i was even able to get an address of their exact location by way of gps. This may be someone that has nothing better to do, trying to scam innocent people that works hard for a living. Please be very careful and not fall onto this scam.
