American Location Specialist
AKA, Tony Lange ripoff locating company who takes your deposit and never calls you back afterwards

I recently purchase 30 vending machines from National Vending Consultants Inc, located in New Mexico. Along with the purchase came a list of three location companies who will provide locations for the machines in your area. On the top of the list was American Location Specialists, which I was referred to by the saleperson, Richard, at National Vending Consultants.

When I first spoke with Tony Lange, he seemed very helpful and interested in assisting me right away. He sent the contract where it states that if you don't make your initial investment of what you spent on the machines they will pay you the difference within the first year. This gave me somewhat of a reassuring feeling that they were not going to ripp me off or give me bad locations, since they would loose future business.

So decided to sign the contract and send it with my $750.00 deposit. I waited one week and didn't hear from them any longer, so I began to call them at least three times a day, and at times I called National and complained to them as well. Nothing ever happend, all I got were a lot of, "were sorry we are trying all we can, we'll call once we get them on the phone". I decided to cancel the contract assuming that I would get at least half of my deposit back and what I got was a call that if I wanted to cancel I wouldn't get anything back. At the time I no longer trusted their services and explained that to them and they basically said that I had lost my deposit.

I paid $750.00 to chat with person, Tony Lange, a couple of times and now I'm stuck with thirty machines in my garage. I feel cheated by both the locating company and by National Vending Consultants as well, who verbally guaranteed these machines with locations. Richard was no longer available for conversation after I made the purchase and I really feel I got ripped off by both of them.

At least I can try to place the machines my self but I got ripped off for $750.00 by American Location Specialists for doing nothing for me. Thanks a lot Tony, I wonder how you live with yourself, stealing other people's money.
