We did some home improvements which included the purchase of an awning from Garden Ridge. Upon the completion of the project, we were unable to use the awning due to the dimensions of the brackets. We promptly tried to return it but were refused because the receipt had been expired by two days. We asked that they would at least give us a store credit and again were refused. We have been long time customers of Garden Ridge, but because of this rigid return policy we are forced to take our business elsewhere. We bought the awning so that we would have it upon completion of our project, not knowing it would be delayed, and not realizing that the return policy was only 60 days. We feel we should at least be given a store credit.
