Lorna Doone - Lorna Doone

I went to the store specifically to purchase a box of Lorna Doone shortbread cookies and I was utterly disappointed. I purchased the cookies today at Wal-Mart and I thought I was going to enjoy a couple of cookies with a bottle of water before I went to bed and you just cannot imagine my disappointment. These cookies were stale. I checked the box for the date to make sure that they were not old and they do not expire until October. I am just really disappointed with this product to the point I thought about taking them back to Wal-Mart. I don't know what happened with this box but it has really turned me off from this product.
