Ripoff fraudulent billing no invoices for charges billed

My wife and i lived in this aprtment for 3 months while we were building our house in the same sub-division as the enclave. We move out end of sept. billed $1000.00 for damages. When we asked for a copy of the actual invoice from the carpet co. To insure i was not getting ripped off, they refused.

After a week or so of trying to comunicate with the enclave they sent it to united collections with no justification, all we were asking for was a copy of the actual bill they wanted us to pay. We asked for the same thing through our attorney, finally recieved actual bill 3 weeks after asking for it, paid bill. But they reported it as a collection on both our credit file, which is obsurd and unlawful.

The enclave did not what to deal with us so they feel that they can unlawfully send a disputed account to a collection agency without providing proof of damages. Now my wife and i credit filed is marred by some false information causing financial damage to any loan or credit we apply too. We have impecable credit with this exception which is completely illegal in my head.
