Refuses to refund my $125.00 deposit from three years ago

I first go my Sprint PCS phone three years ago on December 24. When I went in to get the phone I applied like everyone else and they checked my credit and it came back stating that I had to leave a deposit for $125.00 for the phone.

I said no problem being that I was pregnant and I needed a phone in case of an emergency. For the next year I was having problems with Sprint with their billing procedures and turning off my phone every time they wanted payment. I would pay my phone 2-3 days after the due date, but they would turn it off the day after the due date.

After the first year I had it I wanted to turn off my phone and receive my deposit back. Upon speaking with a customer service representative she told me that she did not see a deposit of $125.00 in my account. I still needed a phone so I stuck with sprint.

I asked every year about my deposit and every time they say they have no deposit and I know I gave them one because I got the phone and at that time my credit wasn't so good. I just turned my phone off in December. I still have yet to receive my deposit back with interest, but I did receive a hefty bill for the phone. Mind you after my two year cointract I did not sign another one.

I did them a favor by keeping the phone on for another year without a contract and this is the thanks I get. No refund and I have to pay more money for a phone I am no longer using and haven't had a contract on for a year.

My advice to everybody is to switch to NEXTEL they are the BOMB and you don't have to worry about getting your phone turned off or bogus billing. They also work everywhere.
